
Saptashrungi Devi Temple
Saptashrungi Devi's temple sits partway up a hill of seven peaks ('Saptashrungi') near Vani, roughly 60 km from Nashik, and is one of Maharashtra's three-and-a-half Shakti Peeths.
Significance
The goddess here is worshipped in a striking 18-armed form carved into the hillside, and the site draws large numbers of pilgrims, particularly during Navratri.
How to Reach
Saptashrungi is reachable by road from Nashik (about 2 hours) and is often combined with a Nashik–Trimbakeshwar trip from Shirdi.
Best Time to Visit
October to March; Navratri is the busiest period.
