Shirdi Temple Darshan Guide
The Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir is the heart of any Shirdi visit, but the wider temple circuit — Dwarkamai, Chavadi, Gurusthan and Lendi Baug — is worth understanding before you arrive so you can plan a sensible order.
The main sites, in a practical order
Most pilgrims begin at the Samadhi Mandir, then move to Dwarkamai (the mosque where Sai Baba lived and kept a sacred fire), Chavadi (where he would rest on alternate nights), and Gurusthan (marking the neem tree associated with his arrival in Shirdi). Lendi Baug, a peaceful garden, works well as a calmer final stop.
Darshan queues
Queue length varies significantly by day, season and time — generally shorter early morning and longer on weekends or festival dates. We plan client visits around this pattern where possible, though we cannot control or guarantee actual wait times.
On VIP or 'special' darshan
We do not sell or arrange VIP darshan passes. Any special darshan facility is issued solely by the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust through their own official counters, and availability is entirely at their discretion — be cautious of anyone offering guaranteed shortcuts.
What to bring
Comfortable footwear (you'll remove shoes before entering temple areas), modest clothing, and patience for queue time are the practical essentials. Photography rules vary by area within the complex — signage on site will guide you.
