Shirdi Weekend Trip: How to Plan Two Days Well

A weekend is enough time for a relaxed, meaningful Shirdi trip — the key is picking one additional destination rather than trying to fit in everything nearby.

Day one: Shirdi itself

Give the Samadhi Mandir and the surrounding temple circuit (Dwarkamai, Chavadi, Gurusthan, Lendi Baug) the full first day, without rushing to fit anything else in.

Day two: one nearby extension

Shani Shingnapur (about an hour away) is the lightest option for a relaxed second day. If you'd rather cover a Jyotirlinga, Trimbakeshwar with Nashik makes a fuller — but still doable — second day.

What to skip on a weekend trip

Aurangabad, Ajanta/Ellora and Bhimashankar are all better suited to trips with three or more days, given the driving distances involved. Trying to squeeze them into a weekend usually means more time in the car than at the destination.
